Jenny studied at the Johannesberg College of Art.  For 25 years she co-owned and ran a graphic design studio. She has participated in a number of group exhibitions and has painted professionally since 2006.  She participated in the 2006 and 2008 Kirstenbosch Biennale and won gold medals at both those exhibitions. 

In 2006 she illustrated and produced a calendar and a guide book for the Brenthurst Gardens to coincide with the opening of their Japanese garden.  A private showing of her works at Mkhuzi Lodge in 2007 was followed by a group exhibition of botanical art at the Karoo Art House, Pretoria.
